The listserv is a product of the Coalition for Disability Access in Health Science and Medical Education and The Association on Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD). It is intended as a forum for exchanging challenges, ideas, and advice from similarly focused peers in graduate health sciences and medicine and is open to Coalition members. To join the conversation, consider becoming a member of the Coalition. More information is available under the membership tab.

Goal of the List-Serv

Our goal is to make this listserv large enough so that individuals receive multiple replies to their inquiries, but small enough that it remains a very focused and personal forum for advice.

Please note that the listserv content is private; please do not share information from the listserv without permission.

If you are asking questions and wish to document responses for support in decision-making with faculty, administration, or with regard to budget information, please note that in the introduction to your question, so that those responding know their answers will be shared.

For questions regarding the list-serv or membership, please email

We look forward to collaborating with others in this shared and supportive environment!
