While our list-serv is ongoing, the de-identified summaries of those conversations are also made available to members through a searchable archive.
The Coalition also continues to advocate and educate faculty/administrators/etc. with regard to the unique needs of health science students. Most recently, a letter of protest from our board resulted in an AMA journal removing an offensive essay contest for medical students titled, "Special Accommodations in Medical School-Are they fair?”
We strive to provide expert advice and awareness about the nuances of clinical education and to increase access to health science programs for students with disabilities.
Dues will strictly be used to cover Coalition costs (including website maintenance, annual symposium, training/module development, webinar development, etc.). As with all organizations, our finances are always available for member review.
